Oil Painting on Canvas
Choose an expressive oil painting on a box canvas. It's a nice option if you don’t wish to have a frame. If you would like to frame your painting, it can be arranged to be painted on a more suitable canvas board if you wish to frame it in a traditional frame.
The slimmer box canvas looks nice in a floating frame or unframed.
It can be arranged for me to frame the painting for you, please e mail me I am happy to help!
!FOR NOVEMBER 2024 ONLY I AM OFFERING A HUGE DISCOUNT!
£600 for an unframed 20×20in or 20×26in oil on canvas.
I can only offer a limited number I am afraid due to timescales, so please email me if you would like to participate in this offer, especially if you would like to gift for Christmas!
Price usually starts at £1,000 for 20x20in square or 20x26 Larger Sizes available upon request
My paintings are more of an expressionist style. I like to paint the colours I see and convey how I interpret the animal’s essence as I am in the process of painting. Whilst many technical animal portrait artists paint exactly the photo, I choose to paint my interpretation of the photo whilst still retaining the image that the photo captured. I like a few clear photos to work from so that I get a real feel for the animal.

If you choose the Oil Painting option, Please reach out via Email. I will organise a 20-minute Zoom to connect with you and work out the details such as canvas size details of your animal ( I like to get to know a little about the beautiful soul I am painting) and whether you would like me to stick to a colour palate that works for your interior or you would like me to paint my interpretation of the colours I see.
Due to the bespoke nature of this artwork and the behaviour of the Oil paint medium, it can take a good few weeks to dry before it can be varnished so please allow plenty of time for this especially if it is a gift. I will always keep you updated.
